The Learning Center is a multidimensional approach for improving a student's academic progress.

The learning Center is geared for the student who could benefit from additional academic support. It combines weekly grade monitoring with teacher encouragement. Progress is charted through weekly grade reports and regular communication with classroom teachers. Class size is kept small to insure individual and personalized attention. The small class size ensures a resource center atmosphere and advocates appropriate peer interaction.

Another component offered by the Learning Center is peer mentoring/tutoring. These student mentors/tutors will be upperclassmen who will assist with basic study skills including goal setting, time managment, organizational skills, and basic skill tutoring.

By building connections through small group work and personalized academic support, we will enhance the personal and academic well-being of every student who participates.
